UNDERSTANDING THE MANDATE

Did you know that there was a mandated requirement set by the state for Connecticut healthcare providers to begin connecting with Connie by May 3, 2023? Any individual, corporation, facility, or institution licensed by the state to provide healthcare services, including provider organizations, primary care and specialty physician practices, pharmacies, laboratories, and skilled nursing facilities, are still required by mandate to connect with Connie.

All licensed healthcare providers in Connecticut are encouraged to comply with the mandate to connect with Connie by filling out the Connie Registration Form, which affirms a good faith commitment to starting the onboarding process. However, if your EMR has already connected, it should make the process of connecting with Connie easier and potentially decrease implementation time.
